There will be many re-prints, but some re-painted too.
my FLGS manager got a message from WOTC/AH because we were the biggest crowed playing Tournament and he ask why the attendance was going down since the scale change. In return they gave him some vague info about the new sets. It is imprecise, but still.
New infantry and some interesting rare.
Combat zone kit could be revive, but not before February.

Bresciano....GOOOAAAALLLLLL!!!!!
* Ahem *
Axis and Allies, right?
Haven't bought a booster since Reserves and probably won't be buying any for EF. Map packs? Well, when Australia gets them I'll definitely buy one. So it looks like singles for me again. Mostly infantry but if there is a really good vehicle I might pick it up.
It's nice to see all the V1.0 die-hards come out again. I was worried everybody had been converted. |

@Northern Rommel:
Price wise Old Glory Command Decision is the best in metal. Scotia from the UK sell the same items in singles. So if your going for historical units like in FOW 3 X (3 each) packs from Old Glory + 1 single from Scotia will get a company of T34/76 for example for around US$80.
Just remember that not all 15mm is the same. A good sight for examples of this is Nordalia.com. Read there firefight series. For a good laugh go to the one on MG 42's in 15mm and look at the overhead view. Nominally all the same scale but the barrel lengths are all different lol.
Also remember that these are unpainted, unassembled models. I've been collecting these for around 20 years and have 497 vehicles, 74 guns & mortars and 141 various FOW infantry bases. _________________ Amatures study tactics, rank amatures study strategy, professionals study wargames.

| I usually pick up 8 cases for a set, but this time I'll shave that down to 4. Sources of funding for my hobby have changed rather dramatically so I'm cutting back. It's a shame... I was looking forward to amassing some stellar EF armies. |

I'll probably get 2 cases, that should be enough at first and then maybe a few packs from the local retailers, as usual.
I'm quite gun shy. North Africa was a cool set and this set LOOKS cool but I'm not wading in with both feet just yet. I might even get a set from the guy who always offers sets when they come out, that way I know I get everything plus 2 of each unc and 3 of each common. The case debacle with North Africa is making me very gun shy, I don't 2 of the same case. For North Africa, between me and 2 friends, we got 7 identical cases. Ridiculous. _________________ 7 cases of North Africa, 7 identical cases. Nice. |
